Location of our hut – for your holiday in the hills of Radstadt
At our mountain hut, you will get to spend your holidays in a peaceful and sunny stand-alone location – surrounded only by alpine meadows and forests. Here, on a high plateau (1200 m above sea level, you have magnificent views of the surrounding alpine world. The hut itself, located between the towns of Radstadt and Forstau, is easy to reach by car both summer and winter. The access lane, which is about 2 km long, is kept clear of snow, though you should always bring along snow chains for all eventualities. From our organic farm, you can also set out on a hike up to our Steinwandalm that will take you about 45 minutes.
Marvelous Starting Point
You can set out from the Steinwandalm on a wide range of hikes and walks across the alpine pastures which surround the hut. And in winter, why not explore the area on snowshoes! The towns of Forstau and Radstadt are also just a few minutes’ drive away, ideal for when you have the urge or need to do a spot of shopping.
